Simplicity and timelessness dominated this main floor renovation. The starting point for this project was a typical early 90’s home composition, with many separate rooms dividing the main floor space. The clients aspired to transform their house into a more spacious, functional family home, which was achieved through the removal of excess walls to significantly open up the space and create a natural flow through the home and through to the backyard.

Traditional elements and a classic colour scheme create a classic aesthetic designed to stand the test of time in this family’s forever home. Crisp, white backdrops provide contrast to allow accent pieces and artwork to pop in comparison, and deep blues add an element of depth and warmth for a homey feel. The fireplace area acts as a focal point in the space, seamlessly blending the modern with the classic while providing an anchoring space to suit all occasions, whether it’s socializing, relaxing, or family time.
